But what if your love is bigger, far grander, than just protection? I mean, it's written all over your face...why not write it all over your case.
case-mate goes the distance - the *laser etching* distance. Yep, give us your name or initials, the hot chick who you're wooing's name or initials, your favorite sports team's logo...or hey, have your employees pledge their loyalty to your company by handing out branded gear...whatever your pleasure, we'll etch it right onto your case.
Oh, and did we mention that it's *free*? Because it is. Who loves you.....
The facts:
Suits --> Applied below the cutout where the Apple logo appears on your notebook, so others can check it out while in use.
iPod & Phone Cases --> Etched on the back of your case, centered below the case's middle and/or belt clip, and above the case-mate logo.
Monogram --> When ordering, add the word "monogram" in parentheses after your initial.
Font --> If you don't specify, we'll hit you with "Times." Otherwise, take the reigns and choose from one of these fine fonts:
NOTE: Laser etching technology can't be applied to the case-mate Signature Shuffle, Carbon Fiber, and Croc Embossed, SmartSkin, Vroom cases.

Q: Where is the option to add personalization to my item?
A: If the item is able to be personalized, the option to add personalization is on the item details page (Click on the item in the store to see the item details page).
Q: How does Case-mate personalize leather products?
A: Personalizing leather gift items is done through the art of laser etching or engraving.
Q: What is laser etching?
A: Laser etching is different than screen-printing, or a method of decoration, which wears off over time; laser etching (engraving) is uniquely permanent since it etches the surface of the item being engraved. Each design is reproduced with precision every time, controlled by advanced laser marking software giving total control of speed and power, resulting in precise etch and clean look.
Q: Can I cancel, return or exchange my personalized item for a refund?
A: Cancellation: You may cancel your personalized order or make changes to it by notifying Case-mate Customer Service within 24-hours of placing the original order. Case-mate will not accept any changes or cancellations after the initial 24-hour period.
Returns and Exchanges: Unfortunately, products that have been personalized may not be returned or exchanged.
Q: Does personalization add to my shipping time?
A: Yes. This process requires extra care and time be taken to finish the job perfectly! It usually requires 4 extra days. Corporate orders may take longer to complete, depending on the size of the order.
Q: What is styles of personalization does Case-mate offer?
A: Monogramming: If requested, we can etch a traditional block monogram that has a larger middle letter (traditionally the last name). The first name initial is on the left and the middle name initial is on the right. Example: the monogram for Mark William Smith would be MSW.
If you wish to have your initials in monogram style, please add the word (monogram) in parenthesis after you initials. Also, write the three initials in the order you want them to be etched.
Individual and Business Names: Choose from three of today’s most popular fonts and add up to 12-characters.
Company Logos: Please contact Case-mate customer service to discuss how best to address your corporate needs.
Q: Can you add BOTH a company logo and an individual name to a leather gift?
A: Yes. For companies that purchase at least six (6) or more products to be personalized, Case-mate will add both the company logo and an employee name. This is common for companies who purchase employee recognition gifts.
Q: If I have a name longer than 12-characters, can it still be engraved?
A: Most of our items have a restriction of 12 characters due to their size.
Q:Is there an additional cost to personalize an item?
A: Currently, Case-mate is offering free personalization on all of their leather cases.
