The buzz has begun. Reports of the new iPad are making their ways across the Internets. Apple announced the new iPad on Wednesday March 7, and the excitement has begun. This will be Apple's 3rd generation iPad, and better than ever.

The most significant upgrade to the new iPad is the screen. It has the familiar 9.7 inch size; however, the display gets a major improvement with the addition of a Retina display in 1080P. The iPhone 4/4S employ similar Retina display technology, which vastly improves the number of pixels per inch on the screen. In other words, your screen will look seriously awesome.

Other new features for the new iPad include a quadcore Apple A5X processor and it will be able to connect to the AT&T and Verizon LTE networks. The new iPad is .6mm thicker, which slightly changes the form factor.
