Review: I love this case! I was weary of purchasing this case, because I had read reviews about the washed out photos. However, after contacting Case-mate customer service, they assured me that this problem had been fixed.
I recently had to purchase a new iPhone because my last one received water damage. My old phone was in a silicon case and received water damage just from condensation of drinks on a table that happened to seep through the headphone jack (I was also in a damp climate - Costa Rica). I was devastated that I had to buy a new phone and immediately began to hunt for phones with port covers. Most cases with port covers are either a) very expensive and unattractive, or b) have removable port covers that I would be guaranteed to loose. The port covers on this case are great! they are easy to access/pop open, and lay flat when closed.
This case is so durable, I was riding my bike with my case in my pocket and it fell out on the pavement without a scratch! It comes with a built in screen protector that adds extra scratch protection.
The second thing I was weary about when I ordered this case was the bulk. I was pleasantly surprised. Although it is bulkier than other cases, it is still pretty slim - not even close to the bulk of an Otterbox case.
Overall, best case I have ever had - seriously recommend it to anyone looking for extra protection, style, and especially if you are worried about water damage to your phone.

Review: This case is good, but not great. I bought the teal blue one, and after a couple of months the edges have turned an off gray color. Not a fan. The case is extremely bulky, which is great for protection but it is too bulky for my liking.

Review: This is not a long term review, so I cannot speak to the case's durability yet. But from what I can feel and see with my own eyes, this case is seriously protective. I feel like it's close to indestructible - not that I want to test that! I like the raspberry and lime, though recognize that it might not float everyone's boat. The case looks smart, modern, girly and not overly decorated with logos or contrasting colors: all big pluses in my book. It does however look bulky to me, especially as a female with pretty petite sized hands. That said, it's a small price to pay for knowing that my iPhone is hardcore protected. Pretty simple to assemble, everything stays put, and so far, so good! I'm glad I did my research and made the investment on this slightly-pricier-than-average but durable, cute case.

Review: Having worked for a top competitor to Case-Mate for 2 years, I learned to be critical of mobile device case design, and have seen them all. The Phantom is simply amazing. By far the most well-made, protective, simple, and tactilely pleasing case I've ever found. It feels like a tank, The camera flash haze is definitely a problem. Not sure why, as the rim of plastic facing the flash is matte black (not white like in the photos). Maybe Case-Mate will update the design to fix the issue.

Review: So, this morning I had a dump truck drop some mulch in my driveway. The driver decided to dump it in the middle rather one side, so I could not leave the house without doing some yard work this morning. My wife placed her phone on the back of my bumper with an alarm set to let me know when to call it quits to come to work.
She called me about 30 minutes ago asking me where I put it, and if I removed it from my bumper. Of course, I had no idea she left it on my bumper, and I thought to myself that there is no way that her phone could have made it all the way from my house, which is about 30 miles with majority being highway miles.
So, I walked outside to humor myself, and I come to find her iPhone sitting right in the middle of my bumper. The material of the Phantom kept if from sliding off.

Review: Let me clarify. I'm no fan boy. I buy what is the best no matter who sells it. There are many great options but I was very particular in what I was looking for.
Case had to be slim, sturdy, have a shock absorbing layer and not interfering with any of the external features. This case fulfills all of these goals. It is very easy to install and the quality is top notch!
The ONLY negative is the screen protector. It doesnt have a hard screen protector. It comes with a stick on one BUT it is about 3 times thicker than your run of the mill unit and has a scratch resistant satin finish. I like it a lot. You keep the sensitivity of the screen with enough protection to keep your phone safe.
All in all this case is perfect. I'd give it a 10 out of 10. The screen protector isnt a deal breaker and honestly I'm glad I don't have one. If you're thinking about this case then don't think...buy it!

Review: i have been searching for an all around shock proof case for quite some time. i have tried both the life proof as well as the ballistic hard core. both of which were not to my liking.
the Casemate phantom is the best case that i have used to date. i really like the fact that its shock proof without adding too much size to over all phone. the case is easy to use and has all port covered. this is a huge thing for me since my daughter likes to play with my phone. an added bonus is the fact that you can still feel the volume buttons as well as the screen button when you push on them over the rubber cover.

Review: My wife loves this case because of the hard to find aqua color. The edges get a little dirty, but overall it's a good case. All of the ports line up. The only problem I can think of is that case is too thick to set the phone in its case on our Bose sound dock. Comes with a screen protector.

Review: I have the case in black/white..Awesome protection but now I'm looking for another case because of the flash issues from the camera. I took pictures indoors (at a restaurant) for a friends birthday party and all my pics were washed out bad. The camera opening on this case is large but since its so deep too the case gets in the way of the flash, very deceptive and not worth the money ! I wish CaseMate would do better testing on their products before letting people buy.

Review: I bought the aqua Phantom. The upper portion of the plastic inner layer was blocking my phone sensor's. I was making calls & the mute button was being activated because the sensor could not detect that the phone was against my ear. Unless the design is modified to fix this problem I would not recommend this case.

Review: I absolutely love this case!! It looks great and feels great in my hand while doing an awesome job protecting my phone! I have two small children so I have to have a rugged case to protect my phone from them. I'm also clumsy and drop my phone a lot. I hate applying screen protectors cause I'm no good at it but I love the texture of this screen protector. It doesn't smudge hardly at all. The best adhesive screen protector I've had by far! The only complaint I really have is I wish there were some more color options. I really want a lime green case. Hopefully they will add more colors in the future!

Review: So far it seems to be a solid and nice looking case; however, I noticed that there are some defects/imperfections that I feel should not not be present on a $50 case. I've attached pictures below for your reference:
1. Volume Button area the black Duo Flex material seems to be cut not as precisely as the one on the Case-Mate website.
2. Lower Right Side (Back of Case) has the same issue as the Black Duo Flex material on the volume button.
3. Bottom part near CM logo (Back of Case) same issue with the Black Duo Flex Material.
4. Cut-Out around the front cam and earpiece - Black Duo Flex material is not cut precisely either.
