Great Design;Bad Protection
Just got this case less than two months ago with black leather inlay. When it says gunmetal case, should protect like 'metal.' Ya think?
Just notice left edge cracked off! I don't know where, when I dropped it, but this should not be happening. Phone ok.
Going to have to go back the CM full leather case, however, the phone would slip out of the case when pulling it out of my pocket. Will search CM web page for newer case.

Still Love Case-Mate
Since discovering the Barely-There series, it is the only case I have repeatedly returned to for my iPhones. I dislike bulky cases, and theses have been perfect. This particular one is not only beautiful, but has protected my phone from accidental drops even right onto the corner of the phone from desk top to hard floor. My only criticism is the weakness of the corner piece. It has broken off twice from just taking the phone out several times (it was also the same corner though that took the full brunt of the last accidental drop and protected the phone from damage).

Nice looking, but poor design
I owned this case and it broke twice in the same place... right above the camera. Never dropped it, just took it out my pocket and it was snapped. Seems like a bad design to me because it's a week spot and just snaps! Not worth the money.

Leather Case
I like the feel of the leather. The two part case doesn't separate. But, the leather is not glued on well. All edges come up. Regluing them down is hard as the edge is so small.

Would purchase again
This case is beautiful and the phone still fits well in my pocket. After many months of use, it still looks like new. I was afraid the metallic plastic would wear but it has been very durable. The openings allow my accessories to work easily as well.
