Can I use a screen protector or shield with the Tank case?
Due to the close fit of the case the screen protectors will become damaged upon installation. Screen protectors, shields and the Stealth privacy screen are not compatible with the Tank case.

might as well get a less "military grade" case
I bought this case about a year ago, and until recently have had few problems. The case is necessarily bulky, the tabs that guide the screen protector can break off which makes the screen hard to open and close, and the rubber plugs and buttons are not very sturdy, so they are now worn flush with the hard plastic of the cover. That said, it has protected my phone from everyday scratches. I'm not prone to dropping my phone, but because I am in law enforcement and carry my phone on-duty, I thought it might not be a bad idea to have a "military grade" case. It has protected my phone fairly well, but today I found the case cracked on the side, to the point that if I close the screen protector, I have to hold the phone just-so in order to get it open again. There was no trauma to the case today; it has been in my pocket or in the cup-holder in my car all day, and has not been dropped, kicked, thrown or otherwise abused...it just cracked. The plastic they used on this is just too brittle, the quality of the screen cover construction too poor, and the rubber buffer/plugs too soft for the case to perform as advertised. If you're going to spend the money on a fancy case like this, go with another product with proven quality.

Case cracks at the weakest spot
My case CRACKED after very normal use at the weakest spot. near the sheild mover. I'm sure super glue will fix this BUT I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO USE SUPER GLUE. I'm just saying. Buyer beware

Love the concept, but it cracks!
I have loved this product, recommended it to people every since I got it at Christmas time. Until two months later the side of the case cracked. I super glued it back together. Then it cracked in a different place that would not stay super glued, so when I took it apart to try to glue it again last week, it cracked in another spot. I love the concept of the case so much with the screen protection, etc. that I now have a duct taped tank case ...
