i am on my 5th Belt clip. I like the protection it gives my phone. But when you sit down or bump into anything the Belt clip wioll break. It is a peice of CRAP

Review: The case has a good look and is easy to access but the belt clip is VERY, VERY weak and breaks easily.
I am in an office all day and sitting down in a chair or getting into a car will snap the holster clip everytime.
I have had the case for one year and replaced the holster three times for a total of $100.00. I think I'll look elsewhere for a more durable holster.

Review: If you have this product, you more than likely have the case that works well with it. The case will most likely outlast this holster. I'm on holster # 5 in the 1.5 years I've used my 3GS. Holster #5 broke two weeks ago, and my iphone is on it's last leg, so I upgraded to the 4S.
I'll upgrade to the 4S model of this holster/case combo, only because I haven't seen a better solution on the market. The case fully protects the phone's edges and back, which are the first to hit the ground when you drop it. The holster is important for me because I work in an corporate environment and need my pockets to be phone free.
If they fix/re-enforce the clip, this would be the best product on the market. That's my $0.02.

Review: I have now had 3 of the holsters fail at the hinge pin, and now you are out of stock. This is a great design, and over all quality is very good you just need to fix the weak hinge pin problem.

Review: I loved the holster/case combo from the beginning. The hinge pins wore out and allowed the clip to come off. While I think that it is a design problem, I could live with it it if Case Mate had additional holsters available. I had to but another brand. Poor design and product support when replacements are out of stock.

Review: I have had this Case Mate for my Iphone 4 and now my 4S. I love it. One time my phone fell off the roof of our car and I found my phone on the highway. The cover completely protected it and it was a-ok. The clip is very sturdy. I have had no problems with it.

Review: I have used the same case for a 1 & 1/2 years. Case is still fine. Belt holder was replaced one time but also failed. I now use just phone case and have no problems. Will continue using until I get new phone.

Review: I really liked this case/holster for the iPhone 4 initially - it's hard to find a holster for the iPhone that's not bulky, and this was easy to get the phone in and out but gives good protection to the phone. The problem is that the clip on the holster sucks - it's cheap plastic and easily breaks. The first time was 1 week after buying this at the Apple store. I exchanged it, no problems, and figured it was due to the phone case rotated horizontally and I must have caught the phone on a counter. However, the second one broke about 3 months later - just snapped.
I've used other holster style cases with my old iPhone3gs, and never had a problem with the clip breaking. I still use the case, just have to stick the phone in my pocket.

Review: I have the carbon fiber case and holster for a 3G phone. The first holster had a broken metal spring clip. The holster was replaced free of charge by Case Mate. The replacement holster just broke this time a plastic pivot broke-off. I like the case but the holster needs a more sturdy design for active people. I reccomend this product because Case Mate replaced the holster and should continue to replace the holsters at no-charge until it is redesigned.

Review: I would never recommend the belt clip! It is weak and breaks off far too easily. If my first two replacements were not free, I would trash the flawed clip! The carbon case is tough as nails and has survived incredible drops onto pavement and hard wood floors.

Review: I've been using cell phones for years and years and have always used a case that clips at my waist and I've never had a problem with breakage. I bought this case, in spite of the high price, because it is so good looking, when I got my first iPhone about 2 1/2 years ago. I would love it if the clip did not break, so easily, over and over. I've replaced it 3 times. I give up. Unfortunately I could not recommend this to anyone.
