Review: This case is fabulous! It is as close to perfect as one could expect for a case. I have had mine 8 months with absolutely no sign of wear, bumps, delamination, or separation...neither has my wife. Everytime I grab my phone I love the feel of the subtle leather. It's not that cheap, "plasticy" leather that is everywhere. It is like the steering whell of a fine sports car or a $2,000 chair. The reason I found this review section is because I came to the web site to order another one as a spare, because I would be really bummed if I didn't have this case.

Review: I bought this in May when I got the phone for $30. It has done a very good job of protecting the phone and the screen. It is falling apart after only 6 months of use. I had to glue the left side leather back to the plastic sleeve in July and now the entire right side is coming off. The leather is very thin and has worn through in 2 places. I expected it to wear but to take on character not look shabby. I see the same thing is for still for sale but don't have any reason to believe that that this one is defective and will probably get the same result with another one. Perhaps Carbon Fiber leather is glued on better. What kind of hide is carbon fiber?

Review: I've had this case for 8 months now and although i initially enjoyed the nice leather look and the the protection factor, i'm becoming more and more frustrated with the bad workmanship and the design faults.
There are so many design and workmanship falts i wont be able to list them all.
To start with it has a Very poor fit for the Iphone 3g, not snug at all, and if you're not careful the phone can slip out accidently and just fly out.
From the begining the case had uneven leather lines, where chunks of leather are blocking the screen (bad workmanship) and now the whole case frame is comming apart! I had to do a major glue job on just the other day.
Bad case design also interferes with the iphone functionality eg. its VERY hard to move any icons from one screen to another as the case won't let your finger get close enough to the edge of the screen (mind you my fingers are relatively slim). Also, the mute button is very hard to get to and you need to use either two hands or a nail to unmute it.
To keep it short the case is defiently not a quality product and definetly not worth the money. I'm really sick of tinkering with it and i'm just about to order something better.

Review: I've had this case about 14 months. I love the form factor and the feel of the leather, and I do think it give a nice level of protection. I'm not crazy about the construction quality though. After 6 months the case had loosen enough that the phone would slip partway or all the way out of the case if I picked it up wrong. By 10 months the case had begun to come apart at the right side seam. The seam has finally split all the way down to the bottom.

Review: Case is nice and feels awesome in the hand. Does have some bulk, but you get good protection from that bulk. The leather seems to be of nice quality, but the fit isn't all that tight. Like the light saber guy, the phone can be shooken from the case with little effort. I would love to see this case redesigned to have a tighter fit. Other than that, great case!

Review: I dropped my iPhone in the middle of a busy street while jogging. I stood there holding my head as cars ran over it. When the light changed I ran out and picked it up. It was face down. When I turned it over I could still see the album cover of the song I was listening to. Lo and behold it still worked. No scratches or damage! The case has tire marks and is a bit beat up around the edges but the phone is undamaged! Cannot believe it!

Review: I've had this case for a year now, and am not exactly thrilled about it. The screen protector that comes with it detached after only a month, and it was impossible to reattach it since it has a slightly sticky surface which attracted dust. When I tried to reattach it, there were too many air bubbles.
The case itself is coming apart at the seams (the two sides are glued together) even though the only place I keep my phone is either on the desk or in my back pocket (I take it out when I sit down).
The inside of the case is hard, and textured which caused the phone's back plate to develop several straight line scratches over time because the cover is slide-out kind, and the phone tends to move back and forth.
Overall I don't feel too good about this product and believe that a cheaper rubber cover would probably have done a better job of protecting the back of the phone's plastic casing.

Review: I put this case on my 1st Gen ipod Touch when new, and my iPhone 3G and after years of use I haven't had a single issue. When my Black MacBook 2.2 was new I encased that too in a CaseMate case, and after 19 months of use and carrying around, it still looks new, and not a single problem. I do use a leather conditioner on all these products at least twice a year, not gobs of it but enough to coat my hands and then rub it in.I mean these are Leather products, and i have always treated my leather so. I wouldn't have any other case but a CaseMate, PERIOD!

My complaint is that after just a few months it has started looking very dirty and old. Also, the leather has a number of tears in it on the edges. Review: I am on my second case... one drop and the top of the case cracked. Yes, the case did its job for the most part and protected the $600 phone. The case leather then proceeded to come undone and finally came off.
The phone will easily come out of the top of the case with any amount of waving. Who would wave it around... children!
Get these items fixed and i'll be buying another...

Review: I worked at a daycare and one of the kids loved to play with the Light Saber app. Thats the one that you shake the phone like youre swinging a light saber and it makes the cool noises. He shook it so hard that the phone flew out of the case and hit the wall. The case was then several months in use, so the lining may not have been in perfect condition tho. That is the only complaint I have about this case. Its very pretty.

Review: I bought this case completely in love with it. Not only did it have a nice sleek look to it, but it also had nice thick casing to protect my phone as intended. Sad to say only after 4 months of having the case, the side snapped and broke, the leather started coming apart a day after that. Now I am not super rough on my phones, I had dropped it twice and the case did its job, I found that the side had snapped when I pulled it out of my purse. :(
I will be purchasing the carbon fiber case-mate case, I truely hope it holds up better than this one did!
