Excellent-great product
I just bought this case and, so far, I couldn't be happier. Tight fit, excellent protection, great leather, very professional appearance.
I think I may buy another (off eBay) just in case they stop making it!

Not As Pictured, BUT Nice
A friend has this case. So i ordered one ASAP. But, it seems the design was changed. It's ironic that the video review on this website points out the "oval" section at the top which is no longer there.I wanted the "oval". BUT it's still avery nice case.

The Best Case & Holster Combo Available
I love this case and holster combo so much, that I have had around 20 of them during the lives of my last two iPhones. They are cool, functional and almost exactly what I need in a case. Unfortunately, there are negatives for this combo and they are the lack of durability (I wouldn't have needed 20 of them if that weren't the case), the occasional case that fits crooked on the phone, the fact that the case fits way too snugly in the holster and frequently causes aesthetic damage to the leather on the case and that the holster frequently breaks after extensive use. All of that being said, I already have a new case and holster sitting on the shelf ready to replace these, when they reach the end of their life. I would totally recommend this combo, but I encourage Case-Mate to look into these flaws and make a great case even better.

Poor design
The case looks good the first week and functions well. The major draw back is the lining material in the holster creates excessive wear on the leather case. After a month I am looking for a new case due to the unsightly wear between materials. The lining material is a nylon material that is abrasive enough to wear at the thin leather. The quality of leather is also another issue due to wear at exposed areas. See images for location of where wear is excessive. I would expect the amount of wear only after 3-4 months not 1 month. Finally the holster design is not easy to insert the phone with out visual confirmation to align. The holster does not create secure enough of a fit to feel confident it will not fall out.

A) The Case and Holster Combo is designed for the Case to face towards your body to obtain maximum security. We do not recommend you to place the Case outwards as it places more tension on your case and Holster.

Q) Will this case fit a 1st generation iPhone?
A) The 3G Signature Case does not fit the 1G Phone. However, we do offer the 1G Signature Case. The 1G Case is compatible with the 3G Signature Holster.

A) The holster comes with a multi-directional, 360-degree ratcheting belt clip which allows for adjustability. The hinge pin is metal the clip is plastic.
Q) Will this fit the new iPhone 3GS 32 GB model?
A) Yes, this case with fit the new iPhone 3GS.
Q) Do you need to remove the phone from case to charge/sinc with regular usb cable/car charger? Thanks.
A) No. The Signature Leather Case allows you to charge and sync the phone with the USB cable and car adapters without having to remove it from the case.
