Pros:
Good protection in case it is dropped.
Cons:
Easily scratches, and particles are easily trapped inside.
Purchased From: Wal-mart
Review: These may be no longer available online, but Wal-Mart is still carrying plenty of them. The first one I bought was scratched badly. I thought someone had used it and returned it. I exchanged it for the same item and to my dismay the front cover was scratched before I ever opened it. The front cover scratches so easily I am sure that this happened during the shipping or packaging process. I can not in good conscious recommend this product to anyone. I am sure Case-mate makes great products, but my experience with this product makes me leery of trying their other products.

Pros:
iPhone Protection, Screen Protector, 3GS Excellent fit.
Cons:
Collects dust, lint between case and phone easily
Purchased From: AT&T
Review: Best case I could find for 3GS iPhone to keep it in brand new condition, and prevent damage from dropping and normal use. Screen protection is top notch. If it is even possible to break or wear out this case, I will certainly buy another one. Only thing I can say is dust and lint collect between phone and case, but when you remove to clean, the phone is in flawless condition. Dustin Northern Virginia Thanks!

covers case, keeps screens from scratches...thats about all!
Cons:
the case itself scratched the back of the brand new phone, snap closure broke shortly after purchasing, front screen protector came detached from the rest of the case shortly after purchase, any and all holes attract debris to make ur phone look horrible.
Purchased From: AT&T store
Review: the case is nice that it allows u to see the phone itself and the concept is great that it has a a built in screen protector...but if u check my list of cons, u will understand why i feel this is a waste of money!

Pros:
Easy to install, clear screen, comfortable grip, slides easily into and out of pocket, iPhone logo visible
Cons:
Lint collects frequently under case, difficult to remove case, scratches back of phone when removing case
Purchased From: AT&T store
Review: This was my first case and I was very pleased with it with some reservations. It was a bit bulkier, but I got used to it. I liked the all-around protection which provided a clear screen. Like some other reviewers I also had what looked like wet spots on my screen, but that was easily remedied simply by squeezing together the sides of the phone. What made me change cases was the fact that the case scratched the back of my iPhone when it was removed for cleaning. Can't have that.

Pros:
I love that it covers my entire phone without needing a screen protector.
Cons:
Dust and debris needs to be cleaned out almost daily.
Purchased From: Casemate.com
Review: I was so excited to find a case that covered my entire iphone because I dislike the screen protectors. It works well as far as protecting my phone but I do have to take it off and clean it frequently because of the trappings inside the case. I guess you're either going to love it or hate it depending on what your looking for in a case.

Screen keeps sticking to case somewhat annoying
Purchased From: AT&T Store
Review: This was the first case I purchased b/c I felt like the phone was an investment and I wanted extra protection. I liked the fact that it covered the entire phone, a little bulky but good. I wasn't crazy about the screen sticking to the case so much then I tried the baby powder, other tips and tricks and got used to it after awhile. Overall, I think it's well-made.

Review: I was very excited to receive this case but after installing it on my iPhone 3GS I noteced the extra bulk that was added to my
nice sleek iPhone.
it will no longer fit in my charging cradle and the buttons are a little too deep in the case for easy access. overall I will give this case a 3 star rating for the protection that it offers but I will be buying another case very soon to replace this bulky suit of armor.
shipping was fast and I will buy a different case from case-mate.com.

Purchased From: Case-Mate
Review: I used both the Clear Armor and the Naked Case to protect my 3GS. I am very happy with the ease of putting the phone in, or out, of the case. All the controls are easily accessible. The beauty of the 3GS shows through but it is still protected, and well. Looking at the Naked Case after a while using it showed scratches which otherwise would have been on the phone - good investment especially if the phone may be sold in the future for a newer model.

A Lot of Protection. Built in screen protector. Hard case
Cons:
scratches the back of the iphone.
Purchased From: A Friend Gave It To Me
Review: This case is amazing in many ways! It has a built in screen protector and has a lot of protection. On the back it has 4 little knobs or dots that act as elevators which elevates the case up so it doesnt get scratched when you put it on a table. Even though it protects the phone itself it scratches the back of the iPhone.

Bubbles on the screen.
Purchased From: Lennox Mall, Atlanta, GA
Review: This case is better than most of the clear cases I have seen. The bubbles that form on the screen are a little annoying but so would the scratches be that would be there if we hadn't bought this. We put this on my wife's 3GS and even with the negatives, I will buy one for mine when I upgrade.

Pros:
Effective protection at a reasonable cost
Cons:
No leather holster from Case-Mate
Purchased From: WalMart
Review: If you want a leather holster for your NakedCase-protected phone, look for those made for the LG VX10000 Voyager phone.
The NakedCase is the most effective protection for my new iPhone 3GS that I've found. Silicon cases are lint magnets and difficult to extract from a pocket. I like to carry my phone on my belt. Plastic clips and holsters always break after a few weeks and drop the phone to the ground when they break -- not my idea of protection for a $300 iPhone. Since Case-Mate refuses to make a leather holster for the NakedCase, look for ones made for the LG VX10000 Voyager.
Review: This case worked well at first besides the bubbles which appear in between the screen protector and the iphone screen. Case-mate's suggestion was to use baby powder to eliminate the static cling causing this. This was a poor solution as you needed to have the exact amount of powder or you'd have a haze from too much, or still have bubbles from too little. This solution also only works for a few days until it must be reapplied.
Because of the constant re-applications of baby powder, the back of my phone became scratched from sliding the back of the case on and off
After about a months use, the two pieces of the case no longer fit snugly together at the corners and now allow a large amount of dust and debris in between the case and phone. This has caused numerous scratches to the back of the phone as well as the corners of the phone. Luckily I decided to put a film screen protector on my phone before using this case, or my screen may have been scratched as well.
After a few months, the screen protector is now separating from the shell of the case allowing even more dirt and debris in.
This would have been a great case if it was designed a bit better.

Pros:
Great case, can see whole phone, screen protection
Cons:
bulky, scratches back of phone, screen cover scratches easily
Purchased From: AT&T Store
Review: I got this case for free when I bought my iPhone. It worked great at first, protecting my phone really well from a couple of drops on a camping trip. Then after a few weeks I started noticing scratches in the screen cover. It is now to the point where I can barely see the screen unless it's dark in the room. The fact that it's so bulky is a turn off too. It would be a great case if they could improve on the screen protector.

Great for impact and scratch
Cons:
residue gets stuck in it and the front cover has peeled off my previous two of this case, leaving it annoying and vulnerable. Scratches back of Phone when taking it off.
Purchased From: AT&T Store
Review: This is a great case. It is very impact resistant( I have dropped my iPhone many times, and it holds up!), and super scratch resistant. At first it is a little hard to press the icons, but that comes very fast, and it is as if nothing is there now. I have gone through two of these now though, the front cover has lost it's adhesiveness as residue gets stuck in it, and constant use. The vibrate key is slightly difficult to use, but not a problem if you have a fingernail at all. VERY GOOD CASE.

Review: I jut bought this case and so fr I like it. It seems to protect well. My previous case was leather so it feel different in my ha d but I think I wil get use to that. It is really easy to hit the space bar on the screen which let's me type faster which I like very much. It does seem to make my hands sweaty a little but no big deal. I think there is an easy fix to the scratch problem. I'm just gong to buy a full body screen for the phone. Simple. If that doesn't work that's fine too I would rather have a scratched back then a cracked phone. It doessuck that it didn't fit my dock but old case didn't either. I will just have to get good at taking th case off

Review: If you're looking for a hard case for your 3G, this is the one to get. It covers the entire phone as well as the screen, and has protected my phone nicely from several drops (even chest-level drops).
Yes, dirt/lint gets inside. Is this really a surprise? It happens with just about all iPhone cases. And you know what? Big deal, I clean mine out weekly. Yes, you will get some small scratches on the back of the phone. Does that matter? Seriously, folks, I love my iPhone as much as you do, but we all know darn well that we'll be upgrading within a year or two so do you really care if the back gets a little scratched? If it's covered, no one is going to see it and it's not like the phone is a collector's item.

Review: This is a decent case and the front cover albeit thin it provides much better protection that the "Film screen guard" and yes the case will scratch over time and I think that is the point, much better than a scratched screen and yes lint will collect on some of the edges if you keep in your pocket, but it takes a couple seconds to blow it off, all around very good protection and works great.

Debris gets in case, cover comes off case
Purchased From: AT&T store
Review: I bought this case at the AT&T store when I purchased my 3gs and thought it would be great a nice stiff hard case. Was I wrong, when the phone I in your pocket debris gets in and when you try to remove the case by sliding it apart you scratch the phone after a couple weeks the membrane screen protector came off so I tried to super glued it back on and almost ruined my phone. Not worth it!

Cons:
a lot of dust accumulated inside just after 1 week of use, and when I removed the cover there are scratches on my iPhone

Pros:
ckear, seems strong
Cons:
clasp too tight, front to loose
Purchased From: Wal-Mart
Review: This case seems like it would be strong in the event of an impact, but it has a few issues as well. I am actually returning mine to the retailer to exchange it for a different case. The front cover is not close enough to the screen and the user has to press harder than normal to use it, even harder along the edges.
Would you recommend the iPhone 3G / 3GS Naked Cases to a friend? YES
Pros:
Good protection
Cons:
Scratches on back, dirt under cover on front
Purchased From: AT&T Store
Review: Apply a peice of screen protector to the back of your iPhone before you slide the back on the case.
It will scratch the screen protector but not your phone. The back is hard to remove the first time, after you slide it on and off a few times, it gets easier. Dirt does accumulate under the cover on the front. But it is easy to take the cover off to clean it.

Cons:
won't fit in dock.
Purchased From: Walmart
Review: Going on 3rd month. I have dropped it on concrete, floor, carpet and the dog. The case is scratched, but the phone is only slightly scratched on the back and is still working. I wish my razor survived as well. Harsh enviroment, from my pocket to rattling around in the cup holder in the truck. The case is hard to remove and has never fell off :) Only issue, I am looking for a docking station that it will fit in with the case on.

Cons:
screen protector plastic
Purchased From:
Review: The screen protector is a very soft, flimsy piece of plastic. The first day I used my case I pull it out of my pocket and lightly tested the durability of the screen protector with my fingernail. I ran my fingernail down the screen vertically and much to my chagrin it left a large gash down the screen. Needless to say I would not recommend this purchase to anyone.

Pros:
Really cool-looking, nice to hold
Cons:
screen cover becomes unglued very easily
Purchased From: case-mate.com
Review: This could probably be my favorite iPhone case ever, if it weren't for the el-cheapo adhesive that holds the clear screen cover on. The case looks incredible and gives a nice size and weight to the iPhone that is perfect to hold and type on. But unfortunately, the clear screen (the front of the case) is held to the backing with what seems to be little more than Post-It glue. It comes apart after about 3-4 days of normal use. This happened to my first one, and thinking it was a defective unit, I wrote Case Mate and they promptly replaced it for free. But alas, the second one fell apart just as quickly and easily.
I tried super-gluing the screen cover back on, but even then the cover came off within in a few days.
I really wish this were better made, it's such a cool design otherwise.
The only other downside is that it all-too-easily collects dust underneath the screen cover, requiring the inside of the unit to be cleaned almost every day. This probably makes the situation with the lousy adhesive worse. Since you have to clean the inside, thus applying outward pressure to the screen cover, which is held on by the weakest adhesive known to humankind, it just decreases the amount of time it takes for the screen cover to come off.
They really would have a winner on their hands if they'd use real glue.

Pros:
Clear beautiful case, great protection! Closes securely
Cons:
hard to remove, openings accumulate dust
Purchased From: ATT Wireless Store
Review: I own a black 3G Iphone and wanted to get a good case to protect my purchase but still show off the beauty of it.
The ATT store had these cases in clear, so I purchased one.
Putting the case on is simple. You slide the phone carefully into the opening into the face protection screen. The back plate slides into the front one and they snap shut to form a tightly sealed unit.
There are openings for the earpiece, camera and charger. The plastic on the front of the case is thinner, which allows the heat of your finger to activate the touch controls.
I have had no problems at all with them working with the case on.
The case does tend to accumulate dust underneath it, but this happens with every clear case on the market that I have tried.
So far I have not recieved any scratches on my Iphone from this product. However I am also not one of those people who has to have their electronics absolutely pristine. The cases protect my Ipods and Iphone from major scratches and keep them looking nice.
Seperating the two case halves is not easy. I could not get the button to "push" down like it's supposed to. I got a small flathead screwdriver and gently wedged it into the edge. Obviously you must do that carefully or you risk scratching the Iphone. But it was the only way I could get the button to move enough in order to slide the phone open.
I would look at different cases and see if any of them seperate more easily than this one does.
This case does work fantastically well though and will definitely protect your phone!

Pros:
Nice look, good protection, feels good in hand
Cons:
Thick, scratches back of phone extremely easily
Purchased From: Walmart
Review: I bought this case and had it on within minutes of receiving my new Iphone and I loved the look and feel.
It's fairly "thick" and felt nice in my hand but there were a few things that really turned me off.
A LOT of dust and lint would easily and quickly begin building up since the case has a few, large, openings for the different controls. Opening the case, even while being extremely gentle caused a very visible scratch on the back of the phone which will remain there forever. Subsequent removals of the case continued to bare more scratches on the back of the phone.
The screen works very well but it has a habit of coming into contact with the actual Iphone screen, when it does, you can see what look like "air bubbles" form. You can try and lift the case's screen off to remove the annoying bubbles but they come back if you touch the area again.
The backside of the case shows scratches which form very easily and become very noticable. To most, it wouldn't be a problem at all but I cannot stand scratches on my phone, let alone it's case.
Overall this is a very nice looking case and feels great in your hand. It provides good protection but if you're picky like me and want a case that doesn't cause scratches itself and if you can't stand dust and lint entering the case, then look elsewhere. If you do purchase this, you must be very gentle while trying to remove it but I believe it's almost unavoidable to prevent scratches.

Purchased From: from the att website when i ordered my iphone
Review: I'm going to keep this short and to the point. I needed a case to cover my iphone which i keep in my pocket next to my car keys. So the whole point is to have a scratch resistant case and also one that protects the iPhone in case i drop it. The problem with this case is that after about a week of use the Faceplate started to peel off and the entire iPhone screen is now completely exposed with the case on. Whats the point of having this complete naked case if the screen is now free to be scratched, cracked, or crushed? So do yourself a favor and buy a case that's durable all over and has its screen cover on tight and not glued on.

Review: The Naked Case provides quite a sturdy cover for the iPhone 3G; the front is sturdy and amazingly responsive to the touch. Admittedly, I was skeptical that the touch response would be good, fortunately I was wrong, it wasn't just good, it was GREAT! My only "wish list" item is that the opening for charging were slightly larger as I own a battery that charges the iPhone while in use, or charges both the iPhone and battery simultaneously. The opening is just slightly too small to accomodate the battery, so the case must be removed to use the battery. Although I have not tested it, I believe this case is sturdy enough to survive a fall onto concrete with the iPhone remaining undamaged. This is a great case; I spent hours researching before settling on this one. I'm glad I purchased it and you will be also.

Review: t does what its suppose to do... protect the phone. No scratches or dents so far buts its been just a week. I prefer to have a hard shell plus one that covers the screen and not just the back. Its a good case and not too bulky. Looks good.
Debris gets inside the case and can become annoying. Also the case is difficult to remove. I'm afraid I might break the phone trying to get the case off but hopefully once I do it will come off easier when needed. Also the edge of the phone near the ear is rough and uncomfortable when in a phone call as it tends to scrape if I don't hold my phone still. Also the side buttons, namely the volume/vibrate buttons, are not easily pressed without rolling the phone on its side for a better angle. Also I would like to see this same hard case but with a rubber coating for better feel and also took keep the phone from sliding around on other hard surfaces (namely in car).

Review: I originally went with Invisisheild, only to be disappointed with some scratches and dings the shield was supposed to prevent.
I went with the naked case after it being recommended by a friend. I like it because you still get the "look" of the iPhone with protection. However, I would recommend removing the case weekly to clean the phone, because debris and moisture can get trapped between the two. The case can sometimes be difficult to remove but overall, good case for the price.

Review: The iphone naked case is incredible. I had originally purchased one for my ipod touch. When I bought the iphone on the spur of the moment, I purchased a similar product at the store to protect my iphone. It did not compare. It was bulkier, less responsive than my experience with the ipod touch naked case, was less sleek and attractive, and cost more. I could not wait to get my naked case to replace it. Since getting my iphone, 4 more friends have become iphone converts and on my recommendation have bought naked cases too. And its great to be able to buy different colors and change the look of the iphone. I have a black iphone and have found that the white naked case is great as it makes it easier to see the phone in my purse. Would be great if available in more fun colors as well. Anyway, I can't really say enough about the naked case.
