This is the first battery pack that I have bought that has allowed me to carry on a conversion without the drop call and the "no service" notification popping up. The other two batteries (that were more expensive) were losing signals unless I was in a 3G enviroinment. This battery is what I have been looking for and I will be anticipating the iPhone 4 battery as well.

Do not buy this case!
After reading many great reviews I decided to purchase this case. After I took it off my phone for the first time I noticed 2 parallel scratches running along the back of the phone. On the inside if the case there are 2 lines that stick out, these are what scratched my brand new phone! I decided to keep using the case because I figured once the scratch is there I can't really reverse it. Now a week after I noticed the scratches I started noticing that I have no service when my parents, who also have the same generation iPhones have 5 bars whir I have 0 when using the fuel lite. I will be returning the case and case and trying a different case-mate model.

I really like it, it protects well which is a big deal. but the battery life extention is great. its very easy to use. only issues are usb 2.o is not utilized when using CM and removal of the case is aggravating. I still wouldn't give it up. extra battery at the touch of a button and you can't loose it no little pieces. even with the few issues its been the best investment for my ipnone.

Worth the $$$
When charging/syncing through the cable connected to the computer all was well. When I used the standard iPhone cube charger it charged the case first, then the iPhone started charging. However when the phone was charged completely it stopped charging. The next morning I woke up and the Fuel-lite was fully charged but my iPhone was depleted to about 60%.

Q) Is there a case I can carry this phone and fuel lite case in?
A) The Fuel Lite is a case in itself and is not designed to be placed in another case or holster.
Q) Can this case charge an iPod touch??
A) No, the case is only designed to work with the iPhone 3G / 3GS device.
Q) Will the phone and battery case charge simultaneously?
A) Yes. Please note the following from the instruction manual regarding charging:
• To charge your iPhone® and fuel lite
simultaneously, the fuel lite must
already be charged to approximately
30% of capacity.
• When charging the fuel lite through your
computer, your iPhone® will only charge
if the fuel lite power has has been turned
on and charged above 30%. this will
also engage your device to sync with
your computer.
Q) Is there any face-only screen protector that will work with Fuel or Fuel Lite? I love these products but am hesitant to buy because I do not wish to leave the iPhone screen bare and unprotected.
A) At this time there is no face only protection available that works in conjunction with either the Fuel or Fuel Lite.
Q) Does the case degrade/interfere with the cell signal?
A) There is no interference with the signal at all while using this case.
