Review: I read other reviews, and it seems others have the same problem with the holster coming off the belt. Why don't you offer a belt-loop case option to reduce chance of loss or breakage? (or do you?)
I would definitely not recommend this product, and would like to get credit for this product if you have something with a belt loop.

Review: I purchased the carbon fiber case for my IPhone; I have always been a blackberry user and the Blackberry case kept my Bold secure. My IPhone has slipped out of the case mate on several occasions and I find myself constantly checking my phone thinking that it may have slipped out! The case needs a feature to secure the Iphone, maybe a flap such as the Blackberry case or some other cleaver idea from Case Mate!!!

Review: I purchased my case and holster from the phone store. a few weeks later the clip broke off after exiting the car. I was pretty bummed about it breaking so I notified customer support and they requested the holster back. I was mailed a postage free mailing label so I can mail it back for free. I sent back the holster and about 1 week later they sent me back a holster free of charge. This is obviously an inconvenience but Case Mate stood behind their product and tried to compensate me the best they could with another item. The customer service is very easy to deal with and were very courteous to talk to. Some people leave comments about the holding tabs on the holster being too loose but logically that will happen over time with something that fits snug initially. I found it helpful to apply a blow-dryer or heatgun to the holding tab fingers and push them in and mold them better to the case. That way the case would never fall out with your phone and solves the problem. Keep up the good work at Case Mate!

Review: Nice case. Cool looking and tough.I've had it for a year and i work as a auto mechanic. Needed something that holds well and is easy to unclip. Took a hair drier to the "fingers" of the holder to bring them in some to hold the phone tighter, works great. Dropped it about 4-5 times, no problems luckly.

Review: I just received the case and holster. The case looks nice, and feels good in the hand. Upon inspection and its interaction with the case, I have a suggestion. Case-mate, please insert a small 1/8" or 1/16" think pad/strip of rubber on the inside of the holster. This small piece/strip of rubber pad will then interface with the smooth iPhone screen to hold it in place. I think the best place would be just below the listening port is on the iPhone. Thus the actual mechanic of drawing the phone would be to ever so slightly pull the phone away from the holster while pulling it upwards. The pad should be small enough so that if forced to pull the phone straight upward, it would still offer some resistance but but give tolerance as well. This can be implemented as an after market kit of adhesive to the holster, or a new holster entirely.

Review: I thought this would be a great case but so far it's fallen out twice. Not sure if I didn't push it in all the way or perhaps my shirt got caught between the phone and the bottom lip. I was walking both times when it fell out. After reading another review I'm going to try to angle it so the top of the phone points upward rather than at 90 deg from vertical. If it pops out again it's a goner and I'll be looking for a more secure case, forget function and looks!

Review: I debated, but I did splurge for the iPhone Carbon Fibre case/holster. Since I like to keep things looking nice, I thought it would stay looking nice longer, so I did buy it. It did hold up. It's been a year and it still looks nice without any special attention. Even to my surprise when I was getting out of my car one day, and the Case/Holster came loose from my pants, bounced on the concrete, and not realizing it had come loose until I proceeded to step on it. Amazing to me was the fact that it only had a hardly noticeable scratch on it.
The consolation prize is that the belt clip is too wimpy to hold the weight of the iPhone Combo. If I hadn't stepped on it, I probably wouldn't have realized it fell off, and I would have lost it. I don't use the Holster much anymore. The rating list did not have a star for Good, so I have to say that in the World of Commercialism which is based on overpriced mediocrity, I would say it is a step above mediocrity.

Review: The product itself seemed to be well constructed but after 48 hours I realized that a huge drawback is how the thick sides of the product prevent you from easily accessing letters on the text keyboard. The only way to make it work well was to always turn the keyboard to the side. I found myself frustrated when I was trying to send a quick text and got stuck hitting letters like "a" and "s" way too many times. I don't have big hands. It was nonsense.

Review: Hi - I loved this case when I bought it - looked smart and really is the coolest looking case. BUT after 8 short months of using is the leather is worn out on three points. The front face at the top, the side where the volume control is and where the silent toggle switch is. The leather is not bonded to the plastic inner skeleton, so when it ribs away it comes away and the whole fabric slides.
Not robust -I work in an office and suitable only if you have kid gloves to treat and handle it like a work of art. Overall I am disappointed that I paid top dollar for this case and a holster.

It makes it a bit hard to turn off vibrate (not to turn on) but that's the only problem I have with it..
For anyone looking for a pure carbon fiber case, this is not the case for you, as it's some sort of crazy meld between carbon fiber and leather. It's softer than CF.

Review: This is the best case I have ever owned. Carbon fiber is used in high tech items like Formula 1 racing cars, where strength, lack of weight, and durability are an absolute requirement. Carbon Fiber is superb when used in a case, being extra strong, light weight, rugged, durable, and good looking. I have had no problems with it. This case is like James Bond, nobody does it better.

Review: I moved from a Samsung i760 and never quite found the case I was looking for. With the Carbon Fiber Leather Case & Holster I've found it. I wanted a case that protected the phone as well as a holster for the hip. I don't use the holster every day, only when I'm traveling for business but it works great, I love the rotating belt loop and best of all, when I'm not using the holster I have a great case offering protection and it doesn't get in the way. The carbon fiber over the leather is a nice touch!

Review: Thank you Case-Mate for intelligently engineered products. My first case was the standard leather case and holster. I was extremely pleased with this case until one day my phone was flung across my garage floor aprox 25' (don't try this at home). The case suffered scratching and scuffing, but I was shocked when I removed my iphone and found no damage whatsoever. Fortunately the exposed top portion of the phone was untouched! Top it off with the fact that the phone still works perfectly. Back to the Case-Mate site for a new case. The Carbon Fiber case and holster really blew me away with the look and feel. You often get what you pay for and this purchase was no exception. This case is Easy to install your iphone into. I've had no incident of scratching anywhere on the phone either. While your phone fits snuggly, it's easy enough to occasionally remove your phone for a cleaning. The holster keep your phone secure to where ever you might clip it. With me, I clip it to my shoulder harness when belted up in the vehicle. The deep reach of the clip is perfect and keeps my phone easily reachable while in the vehicle. The charging plug has no obstructions. I need to use a dock extender cable when using my Sound dock, because the case is too wide to allow the unit to fit in, but that is no problem to me. All in all a sturdy, safe, very handsome case. A sturdy very well made case and I recommend this case to anyone concerned with protection and styling.

Review: The carbon fiber iPhone 3G/3G(S) case and belt holder combo pack is awesome. The case fits into the belt holder just right, not too tight and not too loose. I wear my phone on my belt while riding my mower and I have a rough yard, and the phone stays fully inserted into the belt holder. This set up is rugged and looks very sharp. I have had lots of positive comments from friends and family about them and no negative ones so far. Normally I wouldn't buy something like this from the internet but after visiting some Walmarts, Best Buys, Apple Stores and several AT&T Stores, I decided on this item and purchased it here. I guarantee I'm glad I did and as soon as my wife gets her new iPhone, I will order just the carbon fiber case for her since she doesn't wear her phone on her belt. Yes, it is a little expensive but trust me, it is worth it. It beats the limited selection JUNK you can purchase locally that costs half or more of what this set up costs. It looks just as slick with my suit as it does with my jeans. Very nice case, Case Mate, very nice... definitely the Cadillac of cell phone cases!

Review: This is my second leather case, same design from Case Mate. I'm sorry to say it will also be my last. As much as I LOVE the design of this case, it just hasn't held up to daily use. I'm on the go all the time, and my iPhone is constantly in and out of the case. Within a month of owning the case, the carbon fiber leather was already rubbing off due to the friction required to keep the phone in the holster. After about 9 months now, it is nearly completely rubbed off, and the glue which holds the leather to the plastic shell has given up the ghost. For the record, the phone remains in perfect condition. It has never been wet, nor have I exposed the case or phone to any harmful environments. I REALLY wish I could recommend this more highly, but after owning both an iPhone version of this case (cheaper leather, same design) and this one, and having both suffer the same fate, I just can't! If these issues could be addressed I'd buy another in a heartbeat. Instead, I think I'll look at the hipster and add a barely there case.

Review: I really like Case-Mates iPhone 3G Carbon Fiber Leather Case & Holster. The phone fits remarkably well into the case. However there is a area near the iphone's camera lens that is not protect from scratches or worse, falls. Also the holster on mine has become a somewhat lose fit to the actual iphone and its case. I'm fairly active and I believe a slight bump could cause the case and phone to fly out of the holster. For this reason I'm thinking of a better protection solution like the Case-Mate 3G Naked Case.
