Review: The case does not cover the front of the screen in any way. This is a huge design flaw. Most iphones that suffer damage get broken screens and this case will do absolutely nothing to prevent that.
Additionally, the screen protector is the most profoundly stupid design I've seen in some time. It has a sticker attached to it ostensibly to aid in removing it, but as stickers tend to do, it leaves residue and does not peel off, leaving my screen guard with a sticker on. Who would think designing it this was was a good idea?

Review: I love my new case! Barely There from Case-mate is the smallest case I've ever had for my iphone 3g, and it is by far my favorite. It fits in my hand much better than those bulky cases and feels more like the actual iphone size. I can even hook it up to my ihome to charge and play music without removing the case (which I've never been able to do). The case is smooth and does not scratch or dent. My scratch and finger print proof cover fits with the case on, no problem! LOOOOOVE IT! Thanks, Case-mate! I'd recommend it to anyone!

Review: The name of this case says it all! It is literally "barely there". I have purchased both the ID case which is similiar to this one without the option to hold wallet sized items. This is the most comfortable case you will ever hold! EVER! Case-mate did a fantastic job designing this, and one of my favorite parts is that it allows you to even still see your beautiful apple logo on the back! Great case, good grip, durable. Two thumbs up case-mate!

Review: I absolutely adore this case! I love the rich colors, and the minimalist feel to it. It doesn't bulk up my iphone, and is smooth and wonderful to touch. Everybody is constantly asking me where I got it. If you drop your phone alot, however, its not the best protection, but for everyday scratches and wear, it is wonderful. The color is only now starting to fade a little bit after six months.

Review: Tried several silicon covers for my iPhone 3G. Hated the stretch over time and how the rubbery texture made it difficult to pull the phone out of my pocket. The Barely There case is the perfect case for me! Just enough texture for secure handling of the phone, but it slips in & out of my pockets with ease. Review: I bought another, similar case, from another company, but it ended up cracking around the edges. They way this case is made of a more flexible material, it really holds up well. Fits the 3G very well. You really don't even notice any additional size.
The matte finish makes it a little hard to get a grip on, which made me a little nervous that I would drip my phone at first.

While the VROOM case is a little bulkier but gives you a good grip so you can assure it won't slip out of your hands. Review: I was very excited when I stumbled on this product. However, after using it for just nine days, it started to get dirty with just normal usage, like, dust, make up, etc. And it is not possible to wash off with soap and water. I have yet to figure out a way to clean it so my use-to-be white case now looks beige, almost light brown. I would not recommend it if you are buying a case with a color that will show easily if it gets dirty. However, one of the best quality/material and design for iphone 3G cases I've seen for a reasonable price!

Review: I would consider myself an iPhone case connesuir. I have been through countless cases and have never been happier with the barely-there case.
This case truly is the least imposing case I have ever seen. It is extremely thin and sleek so it does not compromise the light-weight or contoured shape of the iPhone when you snap it on. It is almost like there is no case at all, but you can still rest easy knowing that your iphone is protected from small drops and scratches.
The material is a flexible-plastic with matte-like feel to it, something like a hardened leather almost, so it is very resistant to scratches. Good protection against scratches and small drops on the back, or edges of the phone. Comes with a screen protector that will defend against scratches, but if the phone is dropped screen down there wont be much protection.
The only major cons I have noticed is that the material is very prone to scuffs and smudges. However, I purchased the white case, so of course it will get dirty easier. But after countless times of slipping it into my jean pockets or slipping it into my leather belt clip, it has some stains on it that I cannot remove.
Overall, would definitely recommend this to anybody with an iPhone.

Review: I purchased this case because I liked how thin it was (I could fit my phone in my pocket)and it came in my favorite color. Yesterday I discovered just how bad this product is at protecting the phone. I accidentally dropped my phone on the ground. It just happened to land flat on the front which shattered the glass screen. If this product had a lip that rounded over the front of the screen, my phone most likely would not be broken. $200 later I have a fixed phone. I'll definitely be looking into a case that offers protection instead of just looks.

Review: I purchased this case for my wife. I use the Carbon Fiber Leather case (Silver and Black) and my wife knews how happy I have ben with my cases. She wanted something in a unique color that wasn't bulky. The perfect answer was the Barely There case. The lime green color is definitely a different color. Review: I was not aware of the Barely There when I first bought a case for my iphone and it was white and quickly showed dirt. This case will not allow for that because it is glossy and shiny and dirt will wipe away.
Also, the screen protector that came with the case is an absolute life saver. I can't tell it's even on there. What a great addition to this case.
My previous poor quality case cost more but didn't come with the screen protector and was not a quality product like this Barely There. I have already recommended this case to my brother and father.

Review: The Barely There Case is a nice case, and I would have given it a rating of very good if it was not for the fact that it scratched my iPhone. The scratches were caused by the edge of the case up near the sim card slot having a very rough edge. Its probably the area where the material was pored into the mold to make it, and then never smoothed out. I was mad at first about the scratches, but they are small, and you can't notice them unless they are pointed out to you. I used a sharp knife to scrape away the rough edge, and smooth it out. After that, no more scratches. The only other area you have to watch out for is the inside of the case, where it comes in contact with the back of your phone. It can have some small particals still stuck to it, and if you do not take these off, it can cause the case to scratch the back of you phone too. I saw this area when I took the case out of the box, and removed them, but I did not see the rough edge until I went to take the case off for the first time to clean the phone. The case fits very well, and once you put it on, it looks like it was on the phone from the factory. The case is very slim fitting, and I am able to put the phone into my leather belt holder with no trouble what so ever. Some of the bulky thick cases I could not do this with. The finish on the outside of the case was good, with some very minor scratches in it from being bumped around in the box. I looked at three of the metalic silver cases in Radio Shack, and they all had the rough edges, the particals on the inside, and scratches on the backside of the cases. So this was not just an isolated thing. Also, since I got the metalic silver case it shows scratches easily. If you get a matte colored case, I don't think this would be a problem. For twenty bucks (or less if you find an online coupon!) its a good case that gives your iPhone some protection from everyday use. But check it over and remove all the rough spots BEFORE you put it on your phone!

Review: The only thing I regret wa not getting this case sooner. The reason I never got a case was because I didn't want to sacrifice the slim iPhone design. I finally dropped and nicked my phone on the left upper corner and decided to look for a case. I found the Case-Mate Barely There and the rest is history. If you glance at the phone you can't even tell it has a case on it.

Review: I use different cases under different circumstances, so it doesn't bother me that the Barely There case offers only moderate protection for an iPhone. This case looks great, fits fabulously, and is extremely lightweight. The phone looks great with that logo exposed! (However I always use a portion of a screen protector to cover my logo before putting the case on to prevent scratches). The case does not completely cover the chrome bezel of the phone, so be careful of laying it screen-side down on rough surfaces. If you're even thinking about whether or not to get this case..get it! Not only is it an awesome value (goodies included in the box!), but it's an extreme attention-getter as well.

Review: i have no real complaints about this case, ive had it for 4 months now and it is showing some ware and tear but i drop my phone at least once a week and it always seems to be on brick or concrete. the only thing that bugs me is that the case doesn't completely wrap around to the front of the phone making it appear like its going to fall off but i can honestly say it never has. this case is seriously thin and adds almost no bulk to the phone. overall i am very happy with this case

Review: I got this for my husband. He wanted a super slim cover that wouldn't get in his way. This is perfect! Most people don't even realize he has a cover on, it's that slim! The one that I got was damaged, the side part wouldn't stick to my screen. I called the customer service and they sent me a new one for free. I tried to install the new screen protector that they sent me, and the same thing happened. A lot of bubbles and the sides just won't stick. Review: I actually bought two Barely There cases, one in pink and one in purple. The pink one's my fun case, and the purple one's for when I need to be more subdued at a client site.
The pink color is absolutely gorgeous and eye-catching. I get questions about it all the time, and it looks especially nice with the white iPhone 3GS. The cut-out in the back exposes the shiny silver apple and a peek of the white case. It's almost like a work of art, it's so pretty.
The case is extremely thin and very strong and tight-fitting, yet it snaps on and off easily. I can toss it in a pocket or my purse and carry it as-is, or it's thin enough to slip into Case-Mate's horizontal clip-on case, so I can carry it on my waist if I don't have pockets.
I owned an iPhone 1G for 18 months, and tried several cases. They were all okay, but I think I've finally found the perfect one, based on its wafer-thinness, fab color, and stylish lines.

But.... 1-2 months later, I upgraded from my 3G phone to a 3GS... and discovered LOTS of tiny scratches in the chrome around the screen of my old phone FROM the case itself. I had already put the case on my new phone and immediately took it back off when I saw the scratches on the old phone. After taking it off, I see that there are about 4 little scratches on my new phone now too. How disappointing!! I have the pink metallic color and the paint rubs off on my hands and clothing. This is annoying and I will have to replace the product. It may not happen with all the colours but I wouldn't recommend the pink.

Review: I really like these cases. There are others like them out there, but these look the best, and add very little bulk. They also cover the entire corners, unlike some of the others.
The only thing I don't like is how it leaves a circle for the apple logo exposed.
