crack on casemate
Purchased my first casemake. After about a year, a noticed a crack in the upper left hand corner of the case. The phone had never been dropped or received any type of trauma. Decided to purchase a second casemate. After almost a year, I noticed a crack that developed in the exact same area of the case. Again, phone was never dropped or experienced anything that would cause the case to fracture. I'm dissappointed in this product.

nice and quick shipping
Does not protect all front edges of the phone, so these got dinged. Plastic corners broke with minor trauma; stress cracks had developed earlier. Customer support would not replace as it was greater than one month old when I called. All not worth the relatively high price of the unit. Ended up discarding it.
Love the looks and fit of the case. Unfortunately seems to block some signal reception. No problem if you are in town with a good signal but in a week signal area, I lost 1-2 bars when the case was on.
Beautiful but one major flaw
Hands down the nicest case for this phone. The only problem is that when the case is on - specifically the case version with the aluminum backing - your "bars" will go down. You can be on 3G or 4G and this case will affect the number of bars on your phone. This is not a scientific test but it can be done at home and you will see this with your own eye. As for the majority, this may not be an issue since most of us have great reception. But for others where they are bordering a 4G versus a non-4G area, leaving the case on may result in slower data speeds especially when you turn on the "hotspot" function. I recently traveled to Tulsa, OK and in order to get one bar of 4G data, I had to take this case off. If I left it on, I was stuck with 3G.
