I have had this case for over 2 years and it is still going strong. It has the best shock absorption and has prevented damage to my phone countless times from accidental dropping. The case manages to do this whilst not being bulky and still looking good. This is by far the best protective case I have come across.

I owed a tough case for my Galaxy S2 before so have the same expectation on the new S4. Well protected and I like the added purple color which match so much better with the white phone than the black one. However, I do find that the fitting for S4 is not as tight as the S2 version.

Photo quality was excellent, but I particularly like the fact that the image wraps around the edges covering the sides as well. Quality product well done.

I finally found a classic, clean case for my iPhone 5 and I love it!
Even though the clear back picks up scratches, they are light and you have to really look to see them. Not sure if they're more noticeable on the darker shaded case.
Overall, I'd buy this case again and again. It's beautiful!

I had ordered a cover for my iPhone 3 a couple years ago. I was very impressed. The picture was shiny and the colors were vibrant. The case fit very well. With the case I received a screen protector which was a nice bonus. I received many compliments and referred many people to case-mate. I recently upgraded to the iPhone 4. I again choose case-mate and provided a different picture from the last case. This picture was taken on the same day, same setting with the same camera as the one for the iphone 3. I was disappointed as soon as I opened the package. The case fit well, however the picture is dull, is not shiny or vibrant like the last cover. The side of the cover near the volume buttons broke in the first week. Now it snags on everything. I don't show anyone my cover, as I use to brag about the last one, because the image is so poor. They longer include a screen protector either. I will not be recommending case-mate and I will purchase covers elsewhere in the future.

Love the product. Just wish it wasn't so fragile. I dropped the first one on my kitchen floor, called and asked about a warranty. After a phone of the broken case was sent, they sent me another one just like it. One week later--same problem. It's like it's made of glass and just shatters. BOOOOO

One of the things I love about modern smart phones is how slim they have gotten. Unfortunately most cases take that away for protection. This design offers excellent protection with minimal impact to form. The phone has already survived a 4 foot drop onto ceramic tile !

Designed this case for Mother's Day as gift from the kids. From start to finish the process was smooth and easy. Had a couple questions along the way and the Customer Service department handled them all quickly and thoroughly. And the finished product couldn't have turned out more beautifully. I know I sound like I'm the mother of the president of the company, but they really are that good. Casemate is my first, and only, recommendation from now on.

I really love the white version of this case. It looks AMAZING on my white GS4.
It has two layers, the first very rubbery, the second hard, with an almost honeycomb/crashatch texture that is very pleasing in the hand.
It feels like it would have some pretty solid protection. There is is some lip and rise on the front side, which should protect face down setting and minor drops.
The back raises enough above the camera to avoid scratches, and the cutout is just right for the flash.
I would highly recommend this case!

The case definitely feels a lot sturdier than my last case (comparable to the Barely There case), but the colors turned out quite off compared to the design I sent in.

First off let me say that I love Case Mate and I have gotten several products that I love but I was very disappointed with this one. It looks very cheap and there is nothing at all tough about it. This sadly had to be sent back.

Found the color of both of the cases I ordered to fade-out along the sides of the case making it look like a cheap spray paint job. Tried talking to customer service about it, but they said it was my fault somehow. So much for a 30 day money back guarantee! Shop case-mate with caution, you may not be satisfied!

The case Xtreme case is excellent. It's sleek and does not add much size to the iPhone. The belt clip on the other hand is poorly designed. The top clip is vulnerable to bending and breaking anytime the phone is not in the clip. I do not remember shagging the clip on anything, yet after 2 months, I had to replace when the top clip broke off...I assume from fatigue. Again, poor design. I would pay more for a better designed, more durable retention system on the belt clip.

After charging over night the cover flap at the charging port is VERY hard to keep closed. The port is also too small for a standard car charger plug.

The tough case is no one of the best cases i've ever used, it IS THE BEST.
ive had a tough case for every phone i've had since the iphone 3gs, the blackberry then the iphone 4 and now the s3.

I have had several other cases and really didn't like them either because they were too bulky or it was impossible to get into/out of my pocket. The CaseMate case is very slim and easy to get into/out of my pocked. I really like this case and can't say enough about it.

I like the case except for the thin plastic between the speakers on the bottom. Mine broke and had to be replaced. It is very flimsy and will probably get broken again, but otherwise I love the convenience of it.

The first case that I received was not correct the first time around. I called customer service and let them know what was going on and they immediately provided me with a new proof and shipped out a correct case. I had the new case in 3 days. I could not have asked for better customer service.

I was having issues deciding on a case for my s3 I had just purchased so I began doing some research and checking out the options available to me. I came across the case mate website and began exploring, I fell in love with many cases and just could not decide when I came acorss the option to customize your own case so of course I jumped right in and began exploring! I now and the proud and thankful owner of a super awesome black and white Alice in Wonderland case that not only looks amazing but has been so great seeing as I am a rather clumsy person and tend to drop things a lot but this case has yet to prove to be a poor decision it has kept my phone safe during falls and looking great! Couldn't be happier!!!

I bought this case about a year ago, and until recently have had few problems. The case is necessarily bulky, the tabs that guide the screen protector can break off which makes the screen hard to open and close, and the rubber plugs and buttons are not very sturdy, so they are now worn flush with the hard plastic of the cover. That said, it has protected my phone from everyday scratches.
I'm not prone to dropping my phone, but because I am in law enforcement and carry my phone on-duty, I thought it might not be a bad idea to have a "military grade" case. It has protected my phone fairly well, but today I found the case cracked on the side, to the point that if I close the screen protector, I have to hold the phone just-so in order to get it open again. There was no trauma to the case today; it has been in my pocket or in the cup-holder in my car all day, and has not been dropped, kicked, thrown or otherwise abused...it just cracked.
The plastic they used on this is just too brittle, the quality of the screen cover construction too poor, and the rubber buffer/plugs too soft for the case to perform as advertised. If you're going to spend the money on a fancy case like this, go with another product with proven quality.

I purchased this case after a few weeks of research. I originally had a speck candyshell but I wanted something that would show off the back of my white iPhone 5. I read tons of reviews and finally came across this case. I ordered it with normal shipping and it came in 3 days! This case is by far one of the better cases I've had. It feels solid and well made. After having it for a few weeks now, I can say that the back is showing some scuffing, but nothing I wasn't expecting from an all clear back. The white plasticy/ rubbery material that the bumper is made out of is beginning to discolor with normal use. I'm not sure why this is happening, and nothing will take it off. For this reason I am a little less impressed. But overall it is a good case. Unlike other clear cases, this case does not let little dust particles come in between it and the phone. Also the opening for the headphone jack is one of the largest I have encountered, and fits all types of headphone jacks. The speaker/charged opening is quite large and doesn't muffle any of the sound from the speakers. Overall this case is a great value in an attractive package, but next time I will go for the black to avoid the unsightly discoloration.

I was looking for a bargain case cover for my Iphone 4, and found this discounted one that I could order online with personal pics...So I said why not, I'vegot tons of pics of my little girls, that'd be nice....I was wrong, it wasn't nice, it was "AMAZING"....I wasn't expecting such a quality piece...Thanks

I uploaded images to make a DIY case for my new iPad. When the case arrived, I couldn't get it to snap onto the iPad for fear of breaking the case, the iPad or both. I emailed Customer Service and asked if there were any tips they could provide on how I could accomplish this safely. They decided it was a warranty issue, and believed the case was warped. They did NOT make me return the case to them. They offerred to make another case for me. I told them I wasn't satisfied with MY design choices for the case, and wanted to re-design it, if I could be assured the new one would fit. I expected to have to pay for a new one. After all, the fact that the surface design turned out badly was MY fault, not theirs. When I explained my dilemma, they sent me info about how to upload a new design and said I would not have to pay for a second case. After they manufactured the second case, they tested it in the factory to make sure it would fit. When I received the new case, it did, indeed fit my iPad. I expect a company to stand behind THEIR design mistakes. I did NOT expect them to stand behind MINE. I am extremely impressed and grateful for the way this issue was handled.

My case CRACKED after very normal use at the weakest spot. near the sheild mover. I'm sure super glue will fix this BUT I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO USE SUPER GLUE. I'm just saying.

My son Joey had a fun time designing his Ipod touch case. I couldn't believe how fast it was delivered. It is really fun to have a personalized case. Price is spendy, but I think it is the market, and it is personalized. Maybe for my next phone, I'll get a personalized case too. Thanks for the fun!

I was very excited to receive my Lucky Ling case in the mail. When it came though, I realized that the company had sent me the Lucky Zebra case by accident. Cute, but not my style. When I called customer service, they instructed me to send it back and after another weeklong wait, I would receive my case. They were pretty unapologetic about the mixup. When the package came in the mail, I opened it and found yet another Lucky Zebra case. Needless to say, I was angry. I called customer service yet again, this time to simply ask for my money back and take my business elsewhere. I don't know where Case-Mate fails to come through on their orders but I think it is safe to say that I won't be buying anymore of their cases. I would caution anyone who is thinking about ordering this case, as their system seems confuses it with the Lucky Zebra case and they obviously haven't fixed the problem.

I have had 2 of these and both of them have broken (the small strip in front of the power button) within 1 month without any precipitating event. Too bad, because I love the case.

Had my case for about a month; took it off the phone three or four times in that space. Bottom corner near the headphone jack snapped off; called customer service and had a replacement delivered within a week. Great!

Quality is average, little things in the cons column add up. Dock connectors are completely blocked, rendering dock useless. It is next to impossible to take the case off. Looks are average, feel is average. One thing done right, all sides of the phone are protected at least by bumps. Disappointed.

Just got it today. So far, it's by far the best case I've ever had or seen. The buttons look sweet, the clear back shows off the iPhone's sleek body, it fits nice and tight, it isn't too bulky but still has protection, and the bumper (at least on the black) looks fantastic. I would DEFINITELY recommend to a friend

Overall I do really like this case, but 2 things were not good! My first one split at the bottom (the plastic is very thin) and I had never even taken it off my phone! Also the lighter color (green) faded a little and looks sort of dirty after a couple months of use. I like the stand that pops out and that's the reason I bought this case. Customer service was excellent though and sent me a replacement case (for the one that split) immediately. Next time I will get one that has the grips in a darker color so it doesn't look dirty after use.

Very protective - survived a drop onto the cement from my pocket. Not as thick as otterboxes. Dirt and fuzz get in the two places without a cover and can be a little tricky to clean.

I'd probably give the case a 5, but it was the wrong size for my phone. Maybe the sizing could be clearer on the website? (I clicked through the cases for 4S and somehow ended up in the Jessica Swift Collection. I purchased my case online in an Apple store, with an Apple employee showing me good sites to find fun iPhone cases.) Good customer service from Case-Mate; the return was accepted pretty easily.

I was not happy with the photo reproduction on the first cases I ordered, but Case-Mate listened to my concerns and worked diligently until I was very happy with the cases. They are committed to the customer, and the quality construction of the case gives me a real sense of security, knowing that my whole life is in that phone.

I really love this case and have gotten many many complements on it. It looks very nice on my white iPhone 5, and the colors go very well together. The cute charm on the bottom did eventually come off though, and that was a major downside.

this case uses really good plastic that even after i dropped my phone on the ground from 4 feet high, the case only had some scratch. the phone landed on the top left corner where the simcard tray is located. the corner of my phone sank in and the sim card tray wont sit in completely anymore, but the case only had some minor scratch on the top left corner. The problem is I bought the case to protect the phone, now my phone is damaged and my case it ok, why do i want a nice case and a damaged phone? What is the point of the case then? This is a nice looking case, but only prevents scratches on the back instead of overall protection.

Case is slim and light which I like, but the white bumper gets dirty too fast and easily, Case-mate take my advice! Next time, when u make a case that is white, try putting a oily coating on it, like specks candyshell case has. The back is nice see thru but has no protection at all. Not worth $35, more like $20 is more like it. Sorry Case-mate, I rather be honest then lie to you how i feel.

Best case I've EVER had for a smart phone! See my PROs! The S3 is just too thin and slippery for my hands. This 2-piece case is still thin but provides uber-protection and a textured grippy outside. Plus it has a nice lip around the top edge that protects the face. In my opinion, no PITA screen protector required! Soft inside case fitment is perfect - buttons are as easy as without a case. As I said - BUY THIS CASE NOW!

About a year ago I purchased two cases they turned out fantastic they were absolutely beautiful crystal clear very nice cases, well something has obviously happened to this company in the past year. Every case I have purchased were customized DIY cases. I customized my last case received it very quickly in about a week but the images were absolutly awful I knew it wasn't anything that had to do with the pixels because they were professionally taken photos (which I had the copyright to print) it came very "snowy" and blurry nothing compared to the last two cases I purchased I called and filed a complaint and I was able to make another case free of charge and I received it in about a week but when I received the second one it was worst then the first it was a black and white image on the computer but on the case it's tinted green and has small lines throughout the entire case. To sum this up the case sucks this company sucks. So if you want to throw your money away for a case then I would suggest buying here but if you want a quality custom case I would look elsewhere.

I got the BLACK case for the WHITE iPhone 5 and I think it looks great! The clear casing in the back displays the phone perfectly. The case comes with buttons that cover the power and volume buttons and makes it very easy to use. The only thing I would say that I'm disappointed with is how easily the back could be scratched and how fingerprints are always on it. But it's not only this clear case that has fingerprints and can be scratched easily; that goes for any clear case out there. In my opinion, the white iPhone helps hide all the fingerprints so it doesn't really bother me.
As for putting the case on, it was pretty easy to do. Although taking it off was kinda hard. So my technique was by starting from below the volume buttons and ripping it off from there. It's really your preference, obviously, on how you want to apply the case, but hopefully that little tip helped.

I purchased this case for my wife as a gift. We both really enjoyed have this case for our 4S so I purchased one for myself as well. I read all the issues stated in previous reviews and thought that I could live with the issues. Plus I loved the previous product so much. However, after only 4 months our cases broke in the exact same area. The plastic bridge located toward the bottom of the case, directly below the round home button broke in half. Sad… We are now in the market for a new ID holder phone case. I’ve attached a photo so you can see the exact location of the break. I would not recommend this case.

Easiest one I've ever put on. But I didn't like the feel, it was kind of sticky doesn't fell like the real glass screen so I took it off my new iPad fourth Gen.

While the stylistically the case is great, the plastic screen cover is cheap and the case is in my opinion, poorly constructed. The screen easily scratches and reflects a noticeable multicolored light spectrum. The rubber material overlying the front of the case (around the receiver) is glued on. After a few months of use the glue lost its adhesive ability and went from allowing air bubbles in between the materials to a hanging flap of rubber. Not what I expected with under a year of use.

The case looks and feels awesome!
HOWEVER, the case definitely shortened by WIFI range.
I sit at one end of a long office with the Wifi router at the other end. My phone used to get 2 or 3 Wifi bars with a different case. Now, I get none with this case.
Fortunately I have unlimited data plan with my carrier, but I lost the Wifi speeds to my phone.
Also my bluetooth's range from my phone has been hindered as well.

Did a case for my girlfriend with an antique pic of her great grandmother as a child. The pic is not long and skinny like an iPhone, its wider. Tried uploading pic to service and using editing tools. The "zoom slider" USED to be granular, that being a slider. Now all it does is jump in 10% increments. This made it IMPOSSIBLE to create the case online. IF it had been the former slider tool I could have done it, this is like my 5th custom case. Instead, I had to fire up photoshop, reconfigure the photo so that when I imported the pic it would be closer to the mandated 10% increments. Took a fair number of tries and was fairly infuriating, but I had to do it for the GF. I love the finished product, but please bring back the old zoom tools.

I have loved this product, recommended it to people every since I got it at Christmas time. Until two months later the side of the case cracked. I super glued it back together.
Then it cracked in a different place that would not stay super glued, so when I took it apart to try to glue it again last week, it cracked in another spot. I love the concept of the case so much with the screen protection, etc. that I now have a duct taped tank case ...

I would have kept and enjoyed this if it was actually the pretty color shown in the pictures, but it is an ugly shade of green, in my opinion, so back it goes.

I ordered this case for my iPhone 4 2 years ago and it was suburb....soft silicone with a nice edge around the front. It did not slip out of pockets and when it did hit the floor on occasion, it protected the phone beautifully. I have a new phone and wanted the same product again. Maybe this is a different manufacturer but what ever the deal, this new version is rubbish. Slippery and hard, no protection on the front. I will be returning this product. Bleh.

This case is wonderful, it has carbon fiber on the back, but it doesn't tear like a womb. I can't access the power button though, makes me crazy. Might shoot someone. That's okay, its still a great case.

I bought this case because I wanted a tough but cute case for my Iphone 4S. I thought that me customizing my own case would be a great idea. It looked nice on the website so had it made.
Firstly, I had to wait a very long time for it to finally arrive
Secondly, The design on the case looked crappy. It looked faded and worn out
I thought the case being a "tough" case would be of better quality but the silicone is weak and flimsy and the hard case could hardly be considered that since its thin and i highly doubt it would protect my phone were it to fall.
To make a long story short, I am not stuck with a crappy case (because you CANNOT get a refund or exchange or do anything with the case once you order it) that I would not use PLUS out $40 dollars that I strongly wish I could get back.
I bought a case on Amazon for $10 that included free express shipping. WELL WORTH IT. I should have done that before I bought this.

I haven't dropped my S3 yet but I have a friend who dropped it but this case does magic, that's what he said.
It also feels very strong and solid in your hand and you know that your phone is protected.
I could've written that this case makes it a little harder to operate this phone with one hand (especially for people with small hands) but I would much rather have protection for my phone so its not really a con for me, only a compromise.
I recommend this case for anyone, it is not as bulky and ugly like most otterbox yet it offers the same qualities and a more slim and beautiful design.

Love the designs and the class look of Casemate cases. They hold up really well and I have no complaints at all except I wish more designs came with the rubber, protective inner liner.

Not durable at all, cracks easily. If you want the pattern to show up on the black iPhone you have to use the white sticker that comes with the case which makes the case not fit snugly. I have only used it for 2 months and both corners are already cracked.

Great case with vibrant color. Feels like your phone is really protected! The case does come with silver "fake" keys that you press to get to volume button and top button, so you have to press rather hard to to make a connection between the fake key and the actual buttons.

This case is really original, elegant and looks luxurious. It's a shame though that for 50$ the only part that's made from aluminum is the back, most of the case is made of plastic. Still, it makes a statement of its own and is much more unique than other cases out there. Recommended.

I really liked this case. I was sure my phone was safe and protected. I bought the grey with purple, because of the negative reviews about the lighter colors showing dirt. Unfortunately, I had to pass this one on to my husband and now I am going to order another in a lighter (and more girly) color so females beware.

This is a great compact case that still offers good protection. The one major drawback is that the material gets dirty very easily. I work in an office, so not a particularly dirty environment, but my pink case looks pretty filthy. I have had other best selling silicon cases that don't get this dirty. The port covers are also more difficult to get closed than prior cases I have. Still, this case is nice and compact so I will continue to use it.

This is one of the many thousands of iPhone cases that I've owned and I can honestly say it's my favorite. The clear back looks really nice and it feels like glass and doesn't scratch like other cases with clear backs. The rubber on the inside of the case looks great on the black iPhone 5 and doesn't rub off like others when putting it in and out of your pocket. I would highly recommend this case if you want an attractive, functional, and well designed case.

I got it today for my boyfriend for his phone and I tried to put it on his phone but it took several tries just to get the rubber part to stay in line. It's like taking a bunch of silly putty in your hand and then squeezing it. It's going to come out through the cracks of your fingers! That's what the rubber part kept doing! I understand the back part is supposed to be tight, that's nice. But it was so tight it pushed the rubber part up so far around the phone that it covered the screen!
So now he has to move the sides of his phone case to properly touch the edges of his phone! He absolutely loves the image and hard case but the rubber was definitely terrible!
For the price, I would not recommend. Still debating whether to return it or not.

I received my case much quicker than expected, but the color was a little off on the case. I contacted customer service and they quickly responded, even calling me to talk about the specifics of the case. They replaced my case quickly and everyone who has seen my case has complimented me on it.

The Tough Case is probably the best case for this model. The case provides great protection and, better yet, does so without transforming the device into a thick, rubber-coated brick. In fact, the case appears to be designed to facilitate the HTC 8X's attractive design. Also, it does not add any noticeable bulk to the phone.
Lastly, I was pleasantly shocked when I discovered that the casing does not interfere with the wireless charging function.

I have ordered 6-8 items from case-mate over the past couple of years. This is the first time I have been disappointed. The first case to arrive had a definite green tint. Case-Mate asked for a photo of the defective case and then proceeded to make corrections and sent another, free of charge. However, the quality of the replacement case wasn't much better. The green tint was gone but the photo is slightly pixelated, which wasn't noticeable on the original case. Case-mate was kind enough to replace the original, no questions asked. Because of the excellent service they have provided me and other family members, I did not report the quality of the second "free" case. I would still recommend Case-mate to those that ask about my case.

I was looking for a new protective case for my iPhone 5. I was going for the Otterbox, but then decided I didn't want the bulkiness. I decided to look around for alternative options. I always liked the idea of the see-through cases for the iPhone 5. One of the main reasons I got the iPhone 5 was because of it's beautiful design, and I would like if I could see it while still protecting my phone.
All of the other clear cases I looked at seemed to have minimum protection. When I came across this case, I thought it was perfect for me! Protection and see-through!
It's scary ordering a case that has no reviews, but I took a chance. When I got it and put it on my phone, I knew that I had to come back and leave a review for this case!
The case is great! I love it! It looks even better than it does in the picture! It keeps the slim profile of the iPhone 5, while adding that extra protection! It's sleek and I LOVE how it feels in my hands. The last case I had on my phone hurt my hand because of the edge at the bottom, but this case is made of good quality stuff! The installation was really easy also, and easy to take off!
The buttons for the volume and lock buttons is great! I love how they feel when you press them! It feels like it's part of the phone.
Was it worth the $32? Compared to those other high dollar clear cases that provide little protection and are made of thin, low quality plastic that scratches easily, this case is WELL worth the money! Not a rip off.
The only reason why I gave a 4 star rating is because when I received it the case had a scuff on the inside of the clear part (only noticeable in the light) and this needs to be acknowledged by the company so that they can avoid the problem.
Other than that, this case is GREAT! If you want a clear case with a fair amount of protection for your iPhone 5, get this! It was well worth the money. It's a high-quality case that fits the phone perfectly while still keeping the slim profile of the phone! Glad I found this case! :)

Overall I like the product, specially the color. I would've liked the camera covered as well. I'm satisfied with it as of now.

Bought this case on a whim when it first came out. Love it. Protects well, looks great, feels great. Only negative part is that the back plastic tends to get scuffed and shows some scratches, but it's not that big of a deal and most will buff out. GREAT CASE!

I love, love, love my case-mate phone cover. Wanted something "slick" that would slide in and out of my pocket with ease. Most other brand had a "stickiness" about them that made them hang or snag on fabric but I love this one because I can slip it out without a snag. The color is great--wish it was available in green and I would order a second one!

on a scale from 1-10....i'd give it a 5. Product as described but to expensive to fully recommend. You pay for the luxury of your own picture I guess. The actual case would cost you $.99 on ebay.
