Consider it the toughest love around. The Tough Motorola Droid 4 case uses dual layers of resilient material for a rugged case that protects the object of your affection with a defensive style.

A form-fitting silicone skin completely surrounds the Motorola Droid 4, adding a layer of cushion that absorbs shocks and impacts. The impact resistant, polycarbonate hard shell fits directly on top of the silicone skin for extra Droid protection. A solid finish makes the Droid 4 case easy-to-hold, while the streamlined design keeps the silhouette slim enough to fit in your pocket.

Breaks easy

This is the second case I got from Case Mate and both times the tabs have broken off from the front and the back. The times I have dropped them have only been less than a foot. I would not recommend buying this item.

Love it

Fits nicely, durable. Only complaint is there are no other colors to choose from.

Lasted less than 2 months

I got the Droid 4 on the day it was released. I bought this case with it since it was basically the ONLY option that day, and quite honestly it looked like a pretty darn nice case. I was fooled. Within four weeks (of never being dropped), one of the tabs broke off (the top right on the bottom half of the case). Which, was fine. It left the case a little loose feeling, but it still stayed on the phone. Then, of course, about a week after that, the top left tab broke and the bottom half of the case could no longer stay on the phone. Factors to consider: I never dropped the phone I am a bit of an excessive texter, and I'm opening/closing the phone all the time (which puts stress on the case, as it's being pulled on) Still, that shouldn't have been enough to break those tabs. I'm disappointed with how much this case costs vs how long it lasts. With durability like that I want to say it would break if you dropped it even once.
