Is being half-impressed a good thing?
I bought this case 2 weeks ago...at first I was impressed, despite the steep $30 price tag. It fit quite well, and I didn't mind that it made the phone significantly bulkier. The back cover works perfectly. The front, however, is a disaster. Within a week, the screen protector started pulling away from the rest of the frame, and from the very beginning, I have found the "back" and "menu" buttons much harder to press with the case on. Other touch-screen functions also suffer. The last poor thing about this cover is that dust and other particles easily infiltrate the cover and it looks horrenous when this happens. Even a good wipe-down of both surfaces doesn't last long when the phone is carried around in your pocket. In fact, I'm sure this is where the trouble begins when it comes to the screen pulling away from the frame; I've had to remove it from the phone to clean so many times that it's already breaking up.
What bothers me most is that I have the phone for the next 34 months (damn Canadian contracts!) and the front cover stands no chance of lasting the duration of the contract.
I really wanted to like this product, but I can't in good conscience give it a rave review.

Be ware of this cover
I bought this cover because I keep my Droid in my pocket and did not want to scratch up the screen getting it in and out of my pocket. I have had the cover for about 6 weeks now and initially the screen cover made operating the Droid very difficult. Now my Droid is not as difficult to operate because the screen protector has adjusted to use of my phone. This protector for the Droid, is a snap on cover, and the back cover fell off. I was on a business trip and when I got home I realized I was missing my back cover. I have not taken off the back cover since I installed it, so I do not know how or when it fell off.

Insanely perfect case.
Just picked up the motorola Droid today, and was a little saddened by the lack of cases for it, but luckily stumbled across this one. I can't believe how perfect it is: thin, light weight, full 360 protection yet still able to use the touch screen without issues as well as the side buttons, and it just looks awesome. Such a great product. I literally cannot think of any reason why a person would not like this case.

I would like to see improvements
I had originally purchased a case when i bought my droid for protection from the minute I left the store, but that case did not have screen protection and it made the phone seem huge. I came across case-mates protector and liked the idea of the less bulky case, built in screen protection and showing off my phone. I found a few problems with this case, 1. I lose the ability to touch the keys on the side of the touch screen. I have to press down realitively hard and makes the usage more difficult. 2. I already had a screen protector and put this one over it, now it sticks to it in the middle and where it doesnt stick it makes a sticky sound. I dont want to take off that protector because not only did I pay 10$ for it, but what if I dont keep this case? 3. This is superficial, but I would have liked a color. Clear is ok, but I would have liked a smoke grey or black even. The clear just kinda looks cheap.
I would love to see improvements in the touch screen protector area, then I could give this case a 4 out of 5.
