Already broken
I've had this case for about 6 months. Just noticed that it is now broken at the top. It's cracked all the way from the top to the camera holes, and the piece is about to fall off.

I've had this case on my phone for a few months now, and it has definitely saved me a fortune! I am a little clumsy and often drop my phone (recently 3 times in one day from waist height) and because of the case it is still in perfect condition. After all this time (and drops) the case itself has shown no signs of wear, not a scrape or scratch to be seen. The side volume buttons are a little hard to press as the button cover is slightly recessed but this also reduces the chance of accidentally lowering or silencing the ring tone and or caller volume.

Awesome case!
This is a great reliable,sturdy case that doesn't add to much bulk for the great overall protection that it offers the phone. The only con to this phone is the extra bulk that is unavoidable, but it is worth it! I have dropped this phone a couple times and it comes away perfectly fine.

Best case i've ever bought
This is hands-down THE best case ive ever owned. PERIOD. Worth every penny. Feels just right. Not slippery like some silicone or gel cases. Double layer is amazing. Negatives to the case? well... if anything, the inner layer tends to attract some dust so nothing major. Will buy again! So should you :)

130 km/h fall onto highway survived!
So my phone fell from my motorcycle at around 130km/h and I found it 5 hour later at the roadside! working!!! Hardly any skid marks!

Great case, as expected from CaseMate
I have been searching for this case in stores since I bought my HTC Desire at the AT&T store (the week it came out). I always want to look at and feel the case before I buy it. This case (when I finally found it) did not disappoint. The harder outer layer is subtly textured, and very easy to grip. The silicon inner layer protects the buttons and physical switches on the phone, but allows them to easily be used.
The ports for power, headphone, and the openings for the camera, flash, and rear speaker are clean looking, and protect the lens (one of my big complaints with this phone is how proud the lens stands from the back plate).
All-in-all, this is the best case I have found for this phone.
