Review: The case was very good at protecting the phone the two times that I dropped it. But after a few months, the rubber started to pill and deform away from the phone. When a classmate asked to see the case, it snapped in half while I was removing it. It's not what I would expect from a case that cost me over $30.

Review: At first I really liked the case but then the rubber sides stretched out. After that the rubber started separating from the plastic. Now I can't even put my phone in the case cause the rubber rolls up under the phone when I try to put the phone in the case. My cheap all plastic $5 case has lasted longer and protects it just as well.

Review: This case was good the first day. After that it was such a waste of money. Was impossible to get my phone out after a while. The rubber around the phone lost its shape and let dust and stuff from pockets on the sides of my phone and scratched it up. Luckily putting the case back on didn't scratch my phone more. Other then that durable and keeps it safe

Review: I was initially thrilled by everything about this case. It not only looked good but it does exactly what it's made to do. If the rubber sides didn't stretch out so easily or if it was a matter of heating them in warm water to cause them to go back to the original shape then in my opinion they would be a complete success story.

Review: My bf had my phone in his pockets and it fell out when we didnt know. Later that night we retraced our steps and searched for it everywhere. we finally found it on the ground of a parking lot. It got run over by a car and had a few cracks in it. but guess what? phone was in excellent condition. there is nothing wrong with my phone. its a miracle. the case is slightly bulky and a bit hard to take off but if you want protection then look no further. trust me.

Review: The case offers a great level of protection and is very stylish. The cons to this case is that the rubber on the sides of the case breaks down and stretches after just a couple months. I have had my phone for about a year now and I have ordered a total of 4 cases within the last year.This is a great case,however, plan on replacing it every 3 months or so.......

Review: I've had this case for a few months now and I think its a great choice for your Nexus S, considering there are not a lot of options out there. The grip is good, though I'm sure it might wear down a little. I drop my phone sometimes and it still looks like its brand new. The smooth part can scratch, but i didnt expect it to stay shiny forever. It can be hard to get off and will never ever fall off when you drop your phone. Buttons are good and fit perfectly.
I used to have the tough case hybrid on my blackberry (which i loved) but got this one instead due to availability.
It is a really great case though. Nothing I have seen rivals it.

Review: I put this case on, looked great, feels good in hand. Liked how it is able to slide in/out of jeans pockets without pulling pocket inside out.
Went to take the case off to pull battery, was unable to pop the phone out, little bend to get phone accessible, and the case cracked in half.
Now this only slid into the trash, didn't grab the bag on it's way in. Oh well.
This case would probably be much better if it was split into two pieces, rubber sleeve with hard shell.

Review: There are a surprising number of reviews for this case rated at either one or five stars. It definitely polarizes opinion. For me, I struggled to decide between giving three or four stars. If I could have gone with 3.5, that's what it would be, but as it stands, I can't justify a 'very good' rating when the reality is somewhere between fair to good. I'll explain.
The case sports a beautiful design, reminiscent of the Designers Republic iconic future-Tokyo stylings as seen in games like Wipeout for the original PlayStation. The white case, which I have, also reminds me of a Star Wars Stormtrooper. You could easily imagine one of these things strapped to the belt of the Emperor's finest. The hard, glossy plastic outer is tough and protective and the rubbery inner shell grips and fits the phone in a satisfyingly snug manner. It feels like a pretty well crafted piece of kit.
So on the face of it, this case is a winner. But the drawbacks are just as noticeable. That laminated plastic and rubber makes for a pretty thick combination, which adds considerable heft to the phone. Once the case is on, you no longer have a sleek, elegant, sexy Nexus S. No, you've now got a tough, durable, rough 'n' tumble handheld-warrior's device with a future-Tokyo urban Stormtrooper aesthetic. While the looks are pretty good the extra bulk makes it hard to slip in and out of your pocket. Those rubbery grippy side bars cause enough friction to make it a cumbersome manoeuvre. More problematic still is the rubber material itself. It appears to be related to the erasers we used at school for, you know, rubbing out pencil. In dragging it in and out of my jeans, the friction causes the rubber to crumble very slightly, as if rubbing pencil from paper. This leaves a fine dusting of the rubber on the screen, which is annoying. If I keep the thing in my pocket I'm constantly blowing the dusty residue away. The upshot of this is that I'm very reluctant to keep the phone in my pocket at all. Something bear that in mind if you're a fan of pocket stowage. If that rubber hadn't been crumbly, this would be a 5-star product.
I've also found the hole for the 3.5mm audio jack to be a little small for some headphones causing for a less than snug marriage of cable and phone. Most things I've tried plugging-in are fine, though. The relatively big rubber bevel around the screen edge might be an annoyance to some. I've not been bothered by it, personally.
So, overall, a good looking, durable case that feels like a quality item, but, it's not without its flaws, especially if you're after something light and sleek or you rely on keeping it in your pocket.

Review: I just received my Casemate Pop case in the mail, and it took me all of about 5 minutes to put the case and the screensaver on, I got the white one so it really gives the phone a whole other look. For starters I had already been to all the little mom and pop cell phone shops in my area, and no one had a case for my phone. The one I did find a a major retail store was bulky, and when you pressed the buttons you had to apply A LOT of force. The Pop case from Casemate on the other hand is just like it was part of the phone, it fits the phone like a glove, and it's a hard shell on top of a soft rubberized case. Hands down from all the cases of all the phones that I have had, this is the best case I have ever owned. I don't think that there is another case out there like it. I already dropped the phone once, and I think I was genuinely concerned hat I would scratch my case, this thing looks awesome. If you need a case for your phone, get a Casemate case, you won't ever need or want another case after this.

Review: Bought a nexus s 4g and wasn't sure what cases were out there.
Is this case thick, yes. Is it snug, definitely. Will your phone fall out of this if dropped hard enough? Nope.
I've had to take the case off one and there's a trick to it, you have to peel the top back off and it will slide out. This case looks so good on the phone people think it's part of the original design and not a case. Inside rubber protects fits snug against the screen and prevents dust/debris from getting inbetween the case/phone.
Would highly recommend this for Nexus S users.
