Great concept but go back to the drawing board
The concept is great but the design is flawed in so many ways. It doesn’t support the magnetic sleep function, which would extend the battery life even more. Because the screen is facing outward when carried on the belt, it is begging to be gouged or damaged, regardless of using a screen protector film. The phone doesn’t just slide into a holster, so you have to unclip the assembly or remove the phone from the charger to dial or send messages. Finally, as so many of the other reviews say about this entire line, the belt clip is HORRIBLE. I had this product for less than 48 hours when the clip broke as I was getting into my car. As you can see from the picture, the case is now useless because you can’t remove the broken clip from the case, so it would have to be carried in a pocket with the jagged edge. I am returning the product and waiting for them to improve the design, which they will have to do because they are giving away too many replacements after they fail.

Poor quality control
This is a neat item that I purchased for my new Tour to extend the use for my GPS golf program. The only problem was that it stopped working after a week or two and then all the units shipped to replace stopped working as well. I loved this case/charger but could not find a unit that worked consistently. Case-mate supplied me with 4 units to replace the original. I am waiting for them to improve the quality but am out the money for the first purchse.

Good if you don't wear it on your belt
The case-mate fuel is a good product in terms of concept and it does a good job of charging the Blackberry. However, don't wear it on your belt. Its belt clip is cheaply made, not of the same rugged plastic of the case itself and breaks very easily. It breaks so easily that I recommend you DO NOT buy this product if you're using it on your belt. You sit down and it breaks. Case-Mate is aware of the cheap clip and offers a courtesy replacement when it breaks, but they want to know where you bought it, what price, what date, your email address, your address, etc..etc., which is too much work and time for me to research on a product they know is defective. Replacement should be easier to obtain that their usual return policy. Shame on you Case-Mate.

It Works!!!!
I just switched from Curve to Tour. I was purchasing an Otterbox case on eAccess.com when I noticed the Fuel Case. I purchased it and it works just the way it says it works. It's not to heavy and it feels good in your hand. I love it!
